Why was Hilary booed at the daily kos convention?

It was reported on one of the networks, and I missed the details. I was washing dishes and my wife would not let me leave the kitchen. Why was Hilary booed at the daily kos convention?
I can't speak for every person at the convention, but I can tell you what bothers me about Hillary, speaking as a liberal.

1. She supported the war back when it was popular to support the war, then changed her mind, but still won't admit she made a mistake authorizing the war.

2. She is willing to accept campaign donations from virtually anybody, including arch-demon Rupert Murdoch. Do you think Rupert expects NOTHING in exchange? She wants power so badly she'll get in bed (politically) with anybody.

3. In general, she is a totally typical politician, willing to say anything, do anything and accept support from anybody to get elected. We've had enough of that type of politician.

I would vote for her against any of the current Republican pygmies (as Newt Gingrich called them), but she would be my LAST choice among Democratic candidates. Why was Hilary booed at the daily kos convention?
She (and others) was asked about lobbyist influence in Washington and in the presidential campaign. She was, I think, the first to respond, and she basically laid out a defense of lobbyists and the existing system, saying that corporations are merely one beneficiary of lobbyism - others being social workers, the elderly, people with particular illnesses, etc. She went on to say that contributions from lobbyists do NOT affect her behavior - just look at her record.

Didn't fly with that crowd.

Obama then answered and said flat-out that he disagreed that such contributions don't matter. He pointed to her health care work in 1993, then pointed out how much more money Big Pharma and Insurance were pumping into lobbying since then, and that during that time, there has been little, if any, ensuing debate on health care in Washington.

Edwards then answered as well with yet another point, asking who in the audience had a lobbyist working for them. Three poeple raised their hands, and Edwards said it just goes to show that lobbyists are NOT the honest info brokers that Clinton would have us all believe.

(And I, too, am with Daniel E.)
Daniel E said it all.
Who cares? Daily Kos is just a hate group, a digital KKK. What a shame that someone who some consider a serious candidate for president stoops to pandering to semi-human garbage.
I'm 100% with Daniel E and I'm Ok, and I think you are a lovely person for washing the dishes :)
She is not far enough left for them.

I do have to admire Hillary when she started to vote against the war she talk to the vets on why she did that.

Obama went home talk to his supports.

Please remember what happen when Kerry went too far left.

Soros and moveon.org got what for thier millions.

4 more years of Bush.

Now showing up at KOS convention you get Obama and Edwards as their golden children and Hillary gets booed.

That is the kiss of death for Obama and Edwards.

So Hillary score points with moderates and that is going to be what carries the vote in Nov.
Because I told everyone to do so.

I would be booing too cuz she's no good and she's trying to bring the country down.
because she's too much like Bush
Don't question a good thing, hopefully America will wake up to see that Hillary is a self-absorbed, ambitious con artist (without the gift of grift her ';husband in name only'; has) who will do anything to get power, for herself.

At one time, she claimed to be a feminist. HA! She set the women's movement back 30 years, leading the attacks against the women who could tell the truth about Billy. Hillary hired the thugs who intimidated, smeared and harrassed any woman who would tell the truth about Billy's affairs, gropings, harassments, rapes, etc.

Yeah, Hillary only stands to help her self and she needs a legion of naive, stupid, socialistic and American hating people to get what she wants.
For defending her actions about taking money from lobbyists
She tried to defend her taking of money from lobbyists. Suggesting that her character is so strong that lobbyist money cannot influence her. Sounds like her stubborn stance for authorizing the war. Atleast admit it was a mistake. Quite Ridiculous

Contrary to popular belief, Hillary isn't a liberal. Hence, the booing and you seem to have a mean wife.
Quite simply, Daily Kos and several other groups on both sides are only interested in a ';pure'; candidate who agrees with them on all issues. While apparently most people at the convention claimed that they didn't have lobbyists representing them in Washington, that merely shows a lack of understanding of all of the lobbyists in Washington.

Hillary may not be the best candidate among the Democrats for President, but she was booed at the Kos convention because she is not liberal enough for that part of the Democratic Party. Unfortunately, that part of the Democratic Party does not now and never will understand that a candidate who marches lock step with them is unelectable in the general election. Fortunately, there are similar groups in the Republican Party who will push for a Republican candidate who is equally unelectable. Even more fortunate, neither the Daily Kos crowd nor the equivalent factions in the Republican Party control the nominations.
I applaud her for that.

Every other candidate is taking it too, by the way.
cause they dont like dykes
They did not like the fact that she was taking lobbying money and wouldn't back down.
Daniel got it right.

Tmess, you got it wrong. Yes all the politicians are in fact taking lobbyist money even though some like Obama are trying to be sneaky about it. At least they are saying where they stand on the issue, with AVERAGE AMERICANS, right now its the only real option under the current system but they want change!

She got booed on a very popular point. The fact is that most people don't want Big Money buying off our politicians legally. The mainstream media doesn't talk about it, thats all it is. If you sit down with someone and you explain to them what is going on (if they dont already know) its hard to support a candidate who is defending the legal bribe system of today. Right now its the only way to get elected because a full campaign finance system does not exist, at least admitting they want change is a big issue. Hillary flatly says there is nothing wrong with legal bribery and pretends that small groups have the same influence as the big money groups. Ridiculous.
